Damage to you vehicle resulting from hail can be repair in several methods. It is our feeling that the repair performed should be the least invasive, meaning, the least involved and easiest to perform. We would fist attempt to perform paintless repair methods and then conventional methods. Often, we perform both procedures on hail damaged vehicle. It also makes sense to perform paintless and conventional methods on the same repair panel.
HOW DOES PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR WORK?
The process uses a variety of custom made tools that manipulate the metal back to it's original form. This is achieved after obtaining access from a range of different entry points around the vehicle.
CONVENTIONAL REPAIR METHHODS
Conventional methods of repair include work to straighten the metal as close as possible to the original contour, filling the imperfections in the metal with a glaze or other filler material and finally refinishing the area or panel. This process is performed when paintless dent repair is not possible due to the size, location of the dent or the type of metal that is being worked with. When performed properly, this method is a very high quality repair that we warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.
WHAT SIZE DENTS CAN BE REPAIRED USING THE PAINTLESS METHOD?
Most non-collision dents can be repaired. Dents caused by car doors and hail stones are permanently removed without any signs of a repair. Most customers are completely amazed and wish they would have known about this service sooner.
WILL PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR CRACK THE PAINT?
No. Today's paints are very flexible and are difficult to break. In most cases, if the paint is not broken prior to the repair, it will not break while it is being repaired.
